Captain Todd McClintock is the heart behind Croc and Flocks — a seasoned naturalist, licensed mariner, and passionate guide with over 40 years of experience navigating the hidden waterways of Everglades National Park.
Originally from the Midwest, Todd's lifelong connection to the water began the moment he laid eyes on the ocean as a young boy. That first glimpse sparked a deep fascination that would ultimately shape the course of his life. Drawn to the mysteries of the sea and the rhythm of coastal life, he moved to Miami to study Marine Biology at the prestigious University of Miami.
Knowledge & Experience
From the Gulf Stream to Florida Bay
There, his academic studies were only part of his education — the rest came from countless hours spent out on the water, exploring everything from the deep blue current of the Gulf Stream to the winding, brackish estuaries of Florida Bay.
Over the years, Captain Todd has developed a deep, working knowledge of South Florida's coastal ecosystems, wildlife behaviors, and seasonal patterns. Licensed by the United States Coast Guard, he has safely and skillfully guided visitors through some of the most remote and pristine parts of the Everglades for more than 40 years.
